1. Directions to Brands Hatch

Enter DA3 8NG into your sat nav and entrance is Main Entrance when you arrive.

2. Parking open from 6.45am

Upon arrival at Brands Hatch follow our marshals instructions for parking which is in the Lower Paddock.

3. Sign on / Ride Number Pick up from 7am

After you have parked up head to the Kentagon building, rack your bike up on the bike racking provided, follow the crowd for sign in and pick up your rider number / chip and top tube route sticker.

Please make sure you attach your rider number to the FRONT OF YOUR BIKE this way our 4 event photographers can catch you chewing your handlebars up Row Dow and Ide Hill. Do not bend your rider number as this will affect the chip timing barcode attached to it.

Registration desks are organised by rider surname – Follow the signage to your relevant sign in desk. A-E, F-J, K-O, P-T and U-Z. There is also a Rider Help desk for any event queries or questions.

The Catering team at the Kentagon will have breakfast items such as bacon and sausage baguettes for sale along with plenty of hot drinks - get your carbs in now people!

4. Le Grand Depart

First riders will leave 8am subject to final checks for ice by our motor bike riders/ support crew. Join the queue and we’ll dispatch you in groups of 15-20 riders. In order to help us get you riding and keep you warm consider starting around 8.30am or later – it should save you queuing / waiting and you’ll be able to roll up, listen to the final briefing and then off you go.

For 2025 we are again STARTING AND FINISHING ON THE RACE TRACK. The gate entrance to the start and track is opposite the Kentagon to the left of the grand stand. You'll set off on the circuit and ride part of the GP track before exiting onto Scratchers Lane - then you’re on the sportive route. Upon your return we'll bring you back in the same gate and back onto the circuit for a downhill finish on the home straight.

The Kentagon restaurant and bar will be open on your return serving up some tasty food and beers to revive you as you celebrate completing an epic sportive!

Broom wagon will leave 45 minutes after the last riders depart - if the broom wagon passes you, the course will remain open but you are fully responsible for getting yourself back to event HQ and there is no rider support in case of a mechanical. The route signs will remain in place.

6. Toilet Facilities

There is a large block of toilets adjacent to the Kentagon building - these should be open but are subject to final checks by Brands Hatch this Wednesday.

7. Bag drop

Head to the Help Desk where you can leave a small bag if needed.

Please note Flamme Rouge Events and Brands Hatch accept no liability for loss or damage to any of your possessions left with our volunteers.

8. Emergency contact number

The Event Emergency number is 07495 230952. Save it now on your phone as KK EMERGENCY NUMBER. If you have a mechanical issue or incident out on the route please send us a location reference (ideally a 'dropped pin'), WhatsApp or What3Words and your rider number / name AND STAY THERE. We won’t be able to assist with punctures you should be able to repair a flat and have the necessary equipment. We have 4 motorbikes out on the circuit providing support and coverage for those with serious mechanical issues.

9. Be Prepared

Last Sunday at HOTA we had riders turning up with no inner tubes!

Make sure you have at least 2 inner tubes, CO2 cartridges/ pump, plenty of nutrition. Lesson from last Sunday's HOTA - Riders with the most flats were running tubeless - consider what wheels you bring to KK this Sunday and if you are opting for tubeless bring a tubeless repair kit and an inner tube.

10. Cycling Kit

Plenty of layers please although we could be hitting double digits! It’s better to have too many layers than not enough.

Questions/ Last minute queries – email paul@flammerougeevents.com (reply time will be delayed / please - no questions where the answers are clearly addressed in this email)

We are looking forward to welcoming you Sunday - Have a great ride
